Pollution

We have talked about the grey skies here and our difficulty in determining whether it is pollution or heat haze/vapour due to the huge lake sitting right in the middle of the city. We believe it is pollution from factories which we have been unable to locate but which we are told (by a Canadian) tend to be in the North of the city.....but this example of lack of regulation (or so we think) on machinery must surely add to the smog I was so glad to have my camera with me as we walked to the busstop yesterday as i could capture this generator's exhaust in all its glory.
We sometimes see a similar exhaust from busses and trucks - but fortunately not often.
